Changing Horses

"Changing Horses" is a multi-faceted compendium, which includes an autobiographical book about the foundation of Saffyre Sanctuary, Inc., a full-length documentary, equine educational counseling and certification, and global accompanying workshops.

THE BOOK - Changing Horses takes you through the author's personal stories and lifetime experiences with horses, but it also serves as a general informational guide about the souls of horses, spiritual awareness, transformation, and what the author found on her journey’s when visiting the other side of the veil.  Through a series of life altering events, she describes her exploration of the bodies, minds, and souls of horses in ways that may enable you to apply their principles to your own life, help your own horses, and heal your deepest wounds.  This book brings us into the depths of the universe as explained and defined by the horses, and through their voice, their hope is that this book will lead us to the answers, peace, and solace we have been seeking.

THE FILM - Changing Horses explores the personal stories of how horses change people, so people can change the world.  Through interviewing prominent individuals, including Pat Parelli, Linda Kohanov,  Dain Heer, Jane Velez-Mitchell, and many others, we discuss some very complex issues regarding our human value systems, and how we can adjust our societal beliefs to ensure our survival as a species. We are in the process of completing the filming (we have a few more interviews to do!) and those who have participated became a huge part of the change!  Seeing the transformations first-hand was, and is, an incredible honor as the horses continue to support us on this journey.

THE TEACHINGS - What Is Equalia Actualization? – A unique experience combining all the elements of equine communication, natural horsemanship, and spirituality that brings you to a new level of awareness, and through equine awareness you will discover how to become a self-actualized, enlightened being.  Through the teachings of the horses, we realize how much we have disconnected from our true nature, and what our society wants us believe is nothing more than an illusion. What makes our educational experiences so special is the method by which we conduct our programs.  Our highly individualized approach to equine learning, self-awareness, and oneness, can only be described as an overall spiritual awakening that is unique to each individual which MUST be experienced first hand.

 

We offer these programs as alternative healing methods to people of all ages, including those with medical or emotional issues that are seeking other ways to view and understand what life is really about.  These fee-based programs help support our rescued horses that willingly give of themselves to save us.

THE WORKSHOPS - Our workshops are structured to enhance and coincide with the experience of the film.  Not only will you be able to meet and work with the people and horses featured in the film, but you will come away from these experiential events with a full celestial understanding, diving into your deepest feelings, and a passion to take these feelings with you to fulfill your highest potential! Some of the facilitators featured in the film, will guide you along with the horses of Saffyre Sanctuary in a series of different workshop events.  Each of these facilitators are unique in their teachings and methodologies, unlike what you may have experienced at other workshops.
